About AISCA
Science for a better future
MISSION
We are building the network to support Central Asian science talent and develop regional capacities that advance the countries participating in the network and the science and innovation that arises. Through an intentional network, we as Central Asian scientists assist each other by sharing resources, information and support valuable to our membership. Over time we support effective policies, advocacy for Central Asian science communities, regional collaboration in all levels, and the development of funnels for knowledge, funding, and partners that dramatically ameliorate the scientific and innovation profile of our region.
vISION
We forsee Central Asian scientists abroad supporting each other abroad based on their shared experiences, collaborating on scientific and innovation projects when there is a genuine synergy, and augmenting the profile of science and innovation from the region. With time we also see that this network can become the premiere infrastructure that also cultivates development of scientific talent, institutions and funding and promotes innovation in Central Asia as well.
Our Programs
Take a look and become a part of it
Program 1 connecting
One of the key features of the program will be the use of technology to make communication more efficient and effective. Scientists will be able to use online platforms to share research results, discuss ideas, and collaborate on projects remotely. This will make it easier for scientists to work together regardless of theirlocation. Another important aspect of the program is the provision of translation services. Scientists from different countries will need to communicate with each other in their native languages, but the program will provide translation services so that everyone can understand each other better. Overall, the program aims to create a more effective and efficient way for scientists to collaborate and share knowledge, which will ultimately lead to greater progressin scientific research.
Program 2 scientific collaboration
This program is focused on scientific collaboration and exchange of ideas. It includes presentations, writing and publishing papers, seeking funding, writing grants and applying for grants, sharing information and videos about methods and statistical analysis, as well as answering questions about materials and methods.
Program 3 PUBLIC POLICY REVIEW AND SWOT ANALYSIS
Understanding the current environment in terms of capacities, cultural leverage flows funding flows, initiatives, institutions and partnerships.
Program 4 science education program
For scientist: webinars, seminars, courses on scientific writing, making presentations, writing grants ect..
For young children, high school age and universities
Figure out what is missing, what is needed, what are the strategies..
Mentoring (what is most needed, who wants to be mentored...)
Write books ect..
Program 5 central asia collective fellowship program
Accepted Fellows collectively benefit from a collaborative model of increased capacities based on an elite sharing community profile. Fellows are ambassadors for the organization and the collective represents an enhanced portfolio of relationships with research, people, facilities & centers. Ambassador fellows can represent the collaborative to develop partnerships with the group. Providing enhanced value and innovation potential, as such, they may also personally establish better terms of employment or compensation, more interesting areas of work, higher position and improved status, and ultimately tap into greater career flexibility.
